July Report:
The fishing has started to explode. we have had a slow March but now that the weather has finally broke the bass have jumped into hyper gear. I have been fishing a bunch with many clients and catching 40 plus fish a day. The last few trips had us casting swimbaits in prespawn and spawn flats. The fish are biting it softly but eating it well. I have also been
catching fish on soft plastics. Casting these in the same areas in
water about 3 - 4 feet deep. I work these small plastics very slowly on the
bottom and will make many casts to a piece of structure or dark spot. I have
also found a pretty good flipping bite on deeper boat docks.
